Sometimes it’s the people who nobody imagines anything of that do the things nobody can imagine. That’s the heart of why we do what we do—not to make money, but to allow even ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We put our users first.

Simplicity is removing the obvious and adding the meaningful. We aim for simplicity in all things, from the products we create, to the way we work, to the lives we live.

Here are a few ways we aim for simplicity:

At Cambiata, we win the battle for our users by taking care of each other first. We succeed as a team, and we help each other succeed. We share our learnings with the rest of the team. We proactively prevent problems other teammates may face. We respect each other and trust that everyone is acting in good faith. We help our teammates when they need help. We share feedback with brutal honesty and respect. We don’t let our egos get in the way of a great idea. We share and embrace our mistakes so we all can learn from them.

We uncompromisingly strive to find the best ideas. To do so, we always use a scientific perspective. We reason from first principles. We create and test hypotheses. We use data to make informed decisions. And we continuously iterate to improve everything. We question everything and hold nothing sacred in the pursuit of truth.

Our scientific approach allows us to seek and conquer hard problems. It lets us create solutions that are orders of magnitude better than everything else. Because if something is worth doing, then it’s worth being the best in the world at it.

At Cambiata, we only make long-term decisions. We continuously do what is right, not what is easy. We think big, then aim for even bigger. We relentlessly brainstorm thousands of ideas—reject even the great ones—to pour everything into the revolutionary ones. We learn from and iterate on our failures to convert them into successes.
